Absolutely! We're pretty flexible and informal around here, so go ahead and post an old photo here. Other folks have occasionally done that when they don't have anything to show from the current week. You can also go back and post on threads from previous weeks--I do that sometimes (in fact, I'm about to start posting in threads from weeks ago in the Editing Challenge since I'm extremely behind there). Everyone who posted on the thread is notified when you respond to the thread, so even old weeks get lots of views. Glad you're on board--I look forward to seeing your images.

Tony - look at some of Merco's blog posts. He documented various ways to post images. I take the easy way (for me) - just reply to the thread, select More Reply Options at the bottom and choose the images from my computer that I want to include and then decide where to insert them in my reply - but you can also link to images on your Flicker and other photo hosting sites. Its always fun to see other folks images and most include their settings and any info about the shot to help others learn...Looking forward to seeing your images over the coming weeks and beyond!
I've been ill the last week with full blown Flu. So here are some that I've just taken off the camera. I took a trip to Glasgow Cathedral before I took ill. All shot on the 7100 using the Sigma 10-20mm. I haven't had the energy or will to do much post processing on these just swapped from RAW to JPEG and a few auto settings and saved.
While our oldest was home from college for his fall break, we were lucky enough to get away for a few days to North Carolina's Outer Banks (OBX). North Carolina was not hit as hard as South Carolina with the recent rains and floods, but OBX got about 2 straight weeks of rain, the last part was compounded with wind and high seas from the hurricane which stayed off shore, but caused very high tides.
It was still a bit windy and we definitely got some rain, but nothing like it had been the previous weeks. We spent most of our time fishing and relaxing in the RV but I did get out to grab some photos near the beach. My son and I took a half day trip out on a boat for some fishing and had excellent luck! Monday was really the first day boats had gone out in over a week and the schools of small (9-14") bluefish showed up during that time. Within an hour we had plenty of fish for us, the captain and the mate, but kept fishing, but now catching and releasing. About an hour of that and the seas got heavy, rain started coming down pretty hard and we were worn out after catching 70+ fish, so we headed back to the dock, got the fish cleaned and headed back to the RV.
Naturally, you can't get better eating than fresh fish, so we headed out to pick up some extras to have with the fish. Even though I had brought along ALL my gear on the trip, I hadn't taken any pix (other than a few phone pix on the boat) up to that point. I convinced them to give me a few minutes for photography and ended up just taking the Nikon 1 when we headed out to the store...All shots were with the Nikon 1 and 10-100 f4-5.6 lens at ISO 400 - other details below each image. For those who have been to the Outer Banks or want to look it up on the map, these photos were taken from the beach in Kill Devil Hills, directly east of the Wright Brothers Memorial where their historic first flight occurred. While you could see the memorial, there were lots of wires and buildings that made it a rather messy image and the sun was right over it which made it even worst...Luckily I was able to pull this image out...

Between the parking area and the beach is a walkway over the dunes which you will see in some of the images. The dunes have "Sea Oats" and other plants growing on them and this was a close up of some Sea Oats that I thought looked pretty cool in B&W using SilverEfex...

I used Topaz Lens Effects to add a UV filter or Polarizer on the last 3...Wish we could have been there longer! I could have done with another week or two of fishing and relaxing - and photography, of course!
Here is a shot of a whale blowing its cool. This is from Lincoln City, Oregon. This species of whale is known as, "California Grays." They migrate to somewhere in Southern California, from Alaska. Normally we would have joined up with some folks and taken a boat out to greet them. Pretty exciting when getting up close. The seagulls really add a nice touch. Thanks for looking, Tonytee.

Hello, I did as you had instructed. I clicked on Reply to Thread, then clicked on More Reply Options. I clicked on Choose File, at this point I entered the photo description, and clicked post. The text appeared but not the photo. Also, how were able to select where you wanted you photo to appear? Thanks for your assistance. Tony

Nikonite--wonderful image of the glacier...the depth throughout is gorgeous. We've had to postpone our Alaska trip, so seeing your Glacier Bay photo makes me more determined to get there.

I had a senior portrait photo session tonight with a young lady and her boyfriend. After the sun went down, I got out my lights, and he changed into his hunting gear for some dramatic shots. Here is one of them (guaranteed that this one isn't going into his high school yearbook).

Very nice shot and idea for a portrait shot this time of the year and I love my D750, I can finally keep up to my Canon friends for night shooting.

I had to include a few pix from Friday night's football game...It was lots of fun getting back out to shoot some football...Lighting, not so much fun, but that comes with it...All were taken with my D4 and 200-400 at 1/1000, f4 and ISO 10000. I had my 24-70 on my other D4 which I used a few times, but my favorites didn't come from those shots. All four here are receptions and the first three ended up as touchdowns...the fourth wasn't a touchdown but they ended up scoring on the drive. I ended up with a gallery of 230 images with probably 30-50 of the Homecoming Parade and court.
Another photographer couldn't believe I got this one...
I was surprised I got this as he was rather close for the 200-400!

This resulted in a pretty big collision, but the guy in white caught the ball...
Hopefully the folks down here like the shots and it turns into a regular thing!

Tony if adding from your computer I have to-- More reply options, browse, attach this file , then add to post--.I usually preview my post at that point to make sure it went as expected. and I attached the right photo. I usually try to add from my flickr account since all I have to do is copy and paste the BB code of the shot. there are times tho that I don't take the time or want the shots on my flicker account for what ever the reason. then it is as I described above.
