My area senior proms are in November and I am trying to drum up some business for myself. As I only started my own business in December I don't have a portfolio of existing work to use to sell my services. So I enlisted a local young model to help me out and recreated the type of shots I would do for a Prom shoot. I also tried to give myself the same timeframe to work with to get an idea of what I can achieve in a certain time.
We are getting some glorious sunsets here through winter so I am wanting to play with that. The marina is a common location for these shoots, plus it is close to the rallying area for the cars (the entrance is a huge thing here with kids wanting the flashiest of cars).
CC more than welcome here. They were all shot with my D810, Tamron 70-200mm f2.8 VC and Jinbei DM3 strobe with a 55 degree reflector.
