Some of you may remember Maddie from a couple of my previous shoots? We are doing a years worth of TFP collaborations. She had asked that we try and do a high fashion style of studio shoot. I quickly jumped at the idea as I had not done anything like that myself so we hired out a local photography studio for a couple hours. An owner of what would be the area's most prestigious salon's came on board and donated their time to style her. So we had quite the professional set going on with photographer and assistant (my 8yo daughter), model, manager (model's mum), 3 stylists/make up artists and also the salon owner there for part of the shoot.
CC more than welcome. Especially in regards to posing which I always struggle with and lighting which I am learning.
Lighting was 1 strobe above her with a gridded beauty dish measured at f8. Key light in large octabox camera right also at f8. Fill on the floor with 2x3 softbox at around f2 and one on the background at about f4 I think? I then measured all the combined lights for f11. I was wanting even light rather than dramatic.
All shot at f11, 1/125 and ISO 64.
