I went to a concert tonight. The headliner was singer-songwriter Timo Räisänen who did covers of songs by Ted Gärdestad.

 

The opening act was Ida Wiklund, Gärdestad-stipendiary 2009 who did some of her own songs.

 

Then Timo (vocals and acoustic guitar) came on stage, backed by Martin Schaub (stage piano and acoustic guitar) and Martin Holmlund (bass)

 

 

 

 

 

It was an enjoyable evening with very interesting interpretations of Ted's classics, and some of the more obscure songs as well.
