This is a preview of a quick couple edits. Can't wait to get home and show off the real stuff.

so I still haven't had a chance to really get into the edits of these as I just returned to the city late last night and had to work today.
Anyways, some background on whats going on here...
A team of photographers and models set out into the only inland rainforest in the world, right in my own back yard about a 5 hour drive from home along the Yellowhead Trail between McBride and Prince George British Columbia Canada. Full of cedar trees wider than your car it was an incredibly epic experience shooting in this microclimate. We ended up walking the trails twice, which was exhausting for a few out of shape photographers. I would say its a tougher trail than your average river-valley or park trail, but not something that requires gear. After-all the model in the green dress did our whole first loop in a skirt and crop top while only wearing flats and wrapped in a fluffy blanket, she is kinda nuts though.
The other photographer and I did bring a Profoto B1 each, and if I had to carry that instead of fit it into my backpack I would have left it at the car. We didn't use them a whole lot, but they were nice options to have with us. We didn't expect there to be such epic natural light! The green-dress shot above was lit with natural light and my pop-up flash of my D800 @ 1/128 power (just to fill in the eyes a bit). The amazing thing was that the light wasn't really changing throughout the day.
We also shot in a quarry, the hotel lobby, the hotel roof, and a river bank. So it was a really great time. I can't wait to actually sit down infront of something that's not a 14" laptop and edit and cull these.
Looks like an amazing location and you all got to have some fun with it. I'd love to get to a place like this, but they are all too far away from me where I live.
Pretty sure it's not the world only inland rainforest though?
More than amazing. Its impossible to understand unless you visit it. Just a true representation of awe inspiring.Looks like an amazing location and you all got to have some fun with it. I'd love to get to a place like this, but they are all too far away from me where I live.
