Problem with copying a file

Why I cannot copy a file from my Coolpix L29 camera to my pc? The file size is in parentheses, and properties show a -70102222 bytes size, while the first bar shows about 700MB (in parentheses). Is the file corrupted? Can I do something to retrieve it? Thanks in advance.

Sounds like some sort of corruption/formatting issue.  But if the file is showing up on your camera, try connecting it to a different computer.

I am not familiar with that model Coolpix, is the image on a card or internal memory?
