On Friday, 20th of March, there will be an almost total solar eclipse during the morning, which can been seen by those living in Europe.

For details when it can be seen at your place you can check the site linked hereafter - or google other sites on that subject.

No luck for those of us in North America. Should get a brief look at the upcoming luau eclipse in April though.

Not much luck here neither, as the weather was cloudy all day, so got only a few shots when there was some thinner clouds in between.

But most of the time - and also towards the end of the solar eclipse - it looked as on this final capture

All captures taken with Nikon D610, Tamron 150-600 at 600mm 1/4000s f22 and Auto ISO

As you can see on the last capture it was quite overcasted in my place - most of the time one couldn't even see the silhouette of the sun.
