A small selection of pictures taken on the North Yorkshire Moors. Taken with D7100 and a combination of my Nikon 85mm and Sigma 10-20mm lenses.

Doesn't look like winter, spring is in the air.

Nice set.

Yorkshire is wonderful, both the Moors and the Dales are so beautiful in late winter/early spring.

Nice captures, Rob.

Nice Rob!  Beautiful shots of a beautiful area!

I would appreciate it if you would send some of those spring-like conditions our way.  I'm ready to get out and explore North Carolina's spring time and I'm SOOOOO ready to shoot some baseball.  Several games already canceled due to snow...

Thanks Peter, hopefully going to explore the Dales tomorrow.

Thank you Tbonz, it was a great day for shooting, although the wind was up and it was only 3 degrees Celsius.

Sending some Sun your way

What a gorgeous set! I love these, Rob! I'm with Chandra--there's something about 6 that is just extra good (I think it's that tree in the foreground :) ). I like the photographer against the gorgeous sky too--very dramatic shot!

You're fortunate to be in such a magical area--I love Yorkshire (West, North, proper, whatever--it's all fabulous…and I'm a fan of All Creatures Great and Small, so you know we had to go to Thirsk last time we were there, heh). Any chance you'll get out to Whitby? I've been wanting to go there ever since I found out it inspired Bram Stoker's Dracula.

Thanks Nicole, we went to Whitby on the same day, I'm working my way through the Raw files so hopefully have some up soon, only disappointment was that the Abbey was closed so couldn't get to take any pictures inside.

Another great set...I'm not normally a fan of the "blurred water" images, but I really like the first image...

Thanks Tbonz, thats a real compliment, having not liked that type of shot to really liking my first pic. Thank you. it means a lot.

The boats would be my favorite...out of curiosity, what was your processing on #4?  I really like it too...
