Kenafein, they're great, but the 3rd in B&W is brill!

Thanks, Mr_Leeman, kids are so funny.

No fancy lighting setup or backgrounds, but here are a few family snaps. (D600 with 85/1.8G and 50/1.8D)

I really like 2 but 3 is fantastic. The B&W coversion is great but the moment coaptured is priceless.

Well done.

Thanks, I only wish I hadn't clipped her elbow.

Didn't even notice until you pointed it out. Cropped body parts only look bad if the remaining cropped part appears awkward.

Yet another portrait of one of my kids lol...

Thanks, I only wish I hadn't clipped her elbow.

I wouldn't worry about that. I'm also extremely hard on myself with limbs and such being clipped off but I'm trying to not let it be a determining factor as to whether or not I keep a photo.

Here's an example from the other week:

14121266633_e590096623_b.jpg

Originally I wasn't going to keep this photo because his right hand was cut out of the frame and I didn't get his right foot either. But the more I thought about it I said "screw it, it's a great photo. Could it be better? Sure. But that doesn't mean it's not currently good".

Cheers and keep up the great shooting.

Two more great shots.  I don't get rid of anything unless it is out of focus or flat out terrible.  Though I don't process it if it's not up to snuff.

What? It's a portrait lol! This is my copilot and cohort Rowdy. 5y9aremy.jpg Really didn't crop this very well. I'll try again and repost it later hopefully
