I got this price from price grabbers. It shows fumfie.com selling the D750 body a couple hundred dollars less than the other competitors. Any word if this store is legit? I googled Fumfie and although most were negative, they did receive the camera. Most of the complaints were due to up selling.

Anyone selling the camera that low isn't an authorized retailer.  I tried saving a couple hundred once and the store wouldn't stop calling me with offers.  They later informed me that the camera didn't come with a warranty (surprise surprise), so I cancelled.

Attractive prices are an absolute lure for a terrible experience. Check out the reviews of this seller, this is VERY typical for this kind of seller:

The photography hobby is one that is not known for it's discounts and MEGA BLOW-OUT SALES!!!

Only buy from trusted and established dealers, anything else and you run the risk of getting burned. You can occasionally find a "bundle" that adds a few extra pieces as an incentive (a bag, a memory card, a cheapy filter set or tripod) but unless there's a manufacturer rebate you'll likely not see much of a difference in pricing across all the major players.

Stick with Adorama or B&H and you'll rarely ever have an issue.

Yep...I have to agree...If you really want to check out how they do, order something really cheap from them - would definitely not risk a body or lens to a company unless I was confident the company would stand behind it...Your asking here implies that you aren't confident and AfterImage's reply seems to indicate your lack of confidence is justified :)!

I have to agree with the others. This is an invitation for fraud. Just letting these people know you exsist is also an invitation for spam... of all types. The old adage of caveat emptor doubly applies to photography. Stick with solid companies like B&H and Adorama and you'll seldom have a problem.

keyword is "limited warranty", under the explanation.

Well we, here, mostly use the products directly from hong kong, usa etc, means w/o any warranty.

Because distributor price is substantially high.

I couldnt encounter any problem but this also doesnt mean that it wont.

limited is better than any :)

maybe you should call and ask somethings to them.

but it shouldnt be refurbished.

Because this body is flesh, there is almost no possibility to have refurbished.

just my 2cents.

If you can, just wait for the holidays and you'll probably be able to get a sale on the camera, maybe even a package deal with the 24-120.  Keep your eyes out over the next 2 months.

I was also ready to spring for a new D800 at an embarrassing price, but after reading all the negative reviews from the few dealers that offered these deals, I decided to stay with a tried and true dealer.  A few hundred saved in the long run is well worth the expense.

The combo is on sale now.
