This tis the tripod that I use with my d3200 it's a great all around tripod that is very stable and easy to carry. Check it out at the link below.

good tripod and a competitive price, I have also found that carrying my Omipod  in my backback to give me a bit of an edge when carrying my tripod is just not an obtion when out covering breaking news

This is a link to the one i use, i called it a omnipod but its actually a Monopod..

These can be found in most stores and ebay, i dont see the point in paying for an overpriced one as the are all mainly the same and do the exact same job and they fit neatly into a backpack or easily carried with camera attached whether extended or not

I have the D5100,  longest lens I have atm is Nikkor DX 55-300. I like the look of this tripod but cant decide this one and the Manfrotto 190XPROB I do like the centre column adjustability of the 190. Any suggestions appreciated.

Doesn't it get annoying trying to balance the top bit?

My friend has this tripod, and man I got annoyed at it hahaha....

I picked up a Manfrotto  MK294C3 carbon-fiber tripod with their D3RC2 3-way head for my D7000 and thoroughly like it.  Colonial Photo & Hobby in Orlando, Florida had them on sale as part of their 60th anniversary celebration.  Just over $200.00 which is quite a bit less than B&H Photo.  I find the 3-way head gives me more precise control over movement or lack of movement.

I will also add that this tripod will not fit a normal tripod case with the three head adjustment handles installed.  Manfrotto makes a case for their tripods with that head which fits very nicely and is very well padded.
