Currently using NX 2 and fhotoroom. Planning to pick up Lightroom 5. I own CS3 but the new D600 requires DNG conversion which is another step when shooting in Raw, Not an issue if Jpeg format is used but I shoot strictly raw

I use Photoshop CS5. People use lightroom and I think I might check it out when it comes time to upgrade.

I guess I'm the odd man out. I use ACDSee Pro6. It does what I want & I've actually learned to use it. Installed LR5 a week ago & am having a time coming to terms with it. It looks like a powerful program & if I can learn to use it effectively all will be happy in my corner of the world.
I also use DXO FilmPack3 & Snapspeed.
Be prepared for my dumb questions about LR.

If like me, you have just spent all of your cash on your camera, then ViewNX is OK. Or you can try some of the freebies.
If I want to do some quick editing (again very basic) then Picasa is quite good, also I have found an open source program called RawTherapee which has a lot of tools for getting the most out of your raw images.

Working my way through them. I'm a slow learner so I'll be watching them over & over.

I use GIMP (GIMP + add-ons/plug-ins/scripts can possibly do anything that is possible to do on editing photos), Topaz+GIMP and Capture NX2 (formidable control points).

The new offer for existing Photoshop users finally makes CC a reasonable offering. $10 for Photoshop and lightroom. Still more than I used to pay when I only upgraded a couple of time but sure beats the base price for Photoshop CC.

I uses Photoshop CS6 with a host of plugins. My favorite being OnOne's Prefect Photo Suite.
