I have been studying the light. Trying to find cool images of stuff. Out of place nature stuff. These are all taken with a Nikon lens. 135 mm.

#5 is the best of the set.   The others are all out of focus.

The subject (the berries) in #5 are a bit out of focus, but the leaves in the lower right hand corner are sharp.  Are you using an autofocus lens?

3 is all right. 4 sucks. I don't even know why I put it up. I like 3. It seems on focus. I didn't want the back ground in focus.

The subject of #3 (dried leaves on branch) is in focus on that one, and the background is out of focus, so that one came out like you wanted.  However, the others have their subjects out of focus.  Of the set, #5 is the most interesting, but the subject is out of focus.

Are you using autofocus?
