Who uses a light meter and what are your recommendations?

I was thinking about a used Sekonic L358 but the newer touch screen version a supposed to be easier to use.

358 has been the standard.

Touch screen can crack so that's the main negative about it...

I'm looking for a good flash meter for studio work. Not a lot of bells and whistles, just help me get the exposure right quickly.  Any suggestions?

It may sound as if I'm cheap, but there is an Android flash meter app that works well enough on the Samsung Galaxy S3.

It's just about sensitive enough for the built in flash, so should be fine for studio flashes.

Sounds to me like the Sekonic 358. I have used mine since the gossen I had died in 2001.
