It is a Nikkor.
Beautiful symmetry in that photo.

Pre-AI, even pre-multicoating if you look at the screw holding the silver ring. A look at the lens hood should give a hint on focal length...

Thank you, made a shift to the left for some volume - keeping symmetry as well.

Nikkor-H 28mm f3.5 is my guess.

K-9, a good guess, but it is not a HN-2 for the 28 or a HN-1 for the 24. It is a HN-3 and a Nikkor-O 35/2.

Kind of early this week. Had a Project 52 assignment to do a pro- or anti-tobacco advert, so I decided to do something conceptual and focus on the aspect of addiction and what it must be like to quit smoking. I imagined it must be like dieting--once you're trying to give up certain foods, those foods are ALL you can think about. Thought trying to give up smoking might be the same way. The image below was my attempt to show that no matter what else the smoker is doing, the mind is always on those cigarettes he shouldn't have.

D600, Nikkor 14-24mm 2.8, f/6.3, 1/40, ISO 800, two flashes bounced off white ceiling for light
And just for fun…I finally tried a macro shot with my macro lens. Been using it for portraits.

Can't seem to reply properly with the multiquote - all images are awesome so far this week.
Love the motorbike and the addicted piece - could see somehting like that doing well on a stock photography website.
Not taken anything yet myself - but have an idea for something with my son, if I can get him to stay still enough.

Another one:
A HDR of 9 exposures spaced 1/3 of a step apart.
Body: D700
Lens: 50/1.8 AF-D
Aperture: f/5
Shutter: Varies
ISO:200
This photo is from the same session as the raw file for the editing challenge, but 4 minutes later.
HDR made in Photomatix.
Tourists cloned out.
Provia 100F overlay applied.
Cropped to 4X5 proportions.

LOL, actually I came to an opinion that our brainbodies are smarter than we are. For example, I am a smoker, but once I get camera in my hands or processing images, I have completely no thoughts about cigarettes
Btw, thanks for reminder
