Another trip to the Oregon Dunes. It's amazing how much the sand shifts around.

Thanks everyone but one.
A tree like that in the middle of sand dunes? Nice art piece but doesn't look real. Like you inserted a tree in the middle of the desert with photoshop. If you did, nice work on the shadows.
You don't know much about the Oregon Sand Dunes. Let these pictures be an education. Here are more Photoshopped trees in the dunes. And the BW shots are film. Yeah, my Photoshop skills are great, no?
Sand dunes are dynamic. They are constantly moving and shifting. And I mean a lot! The dead trees were on ground without sand at one time. But the sand came in and killed them. Just like what will happen to the living ones in these shots.
Holy moly! I love all of these…very surreal. Beautiful, well-composed, striking...
Who ARE you??? You do consistently amazing work (I'm following you on Flickr).
Awesome work again Guy, I've driven past the dunes there a couple of times but never stopped to look around the park. Going to try next time I am in the area.
Thanks. Yeah, check it out. Some areas have a lot of dune buggies to deal with. And some places like the John Dellenback Dunes Trail has no dune buggies to contend with. Trees like you see in these photos are typically near the edges of the dunes.
