Is it my imagination, or are we seeing more and more free, creative ideas in these challenges? People seem to dare to think more outside the box and break the rules than when we started out.

I think maybe we are seeing that. It seems like a natural progression… I'm constantly impressed by the quality of photos we see all over this forum. :)

As promised, a few late editions shot yesterday...Weekend trip to Baltimore, MD.  All photos with my D600 and 200-400.

First shot below was from my (7th floor) hotel room window (400 ISO, 260mm, 1/800 f5.6).  It is an old Power Plant that now houses a Hard Rock Cafe and a Barnes & Nobel Bookstore.  I shot several photos out the window of boats and buildings around the Inner Harbor, but I think this was my favorite of the bunch.

The others are also from the window...the roof of one of the buildings there and some kayakers out in the Harbor.

ISO 400, 380mm, 1/2500, f5.6

Lastly, the trip included two days of photography of a different sort - the kind I'm more used to...I'll post more about it and share some more pix later...ISO 800, 290mm, 1/3200, f4

Still going through all the pix but have processed most of them!

I know I am late getting this posted.  I am working through Lighting 102 on Strobist.com and this was for the first assignment.
