Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 29 June, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style--just give us your best shot.

PS: If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

Thanks to everyone who has been participating! It's fun to see what you've all been up to. Lots of good photos!

I just acquired a used 105 /f.2.8 Nikon micro.  These are my first photos.  I need more practice, but thats the fun part.  I tried getting really close but that didn't work out well.
A, f8, iso 163, shutter 1.3

I will be in Alberta, CAN, the rest of the week so these will be my pic of the week.

Thank you! That was not easy indeed - with pretty cold breeze and loads of small biting insects :D

This is a photo with my new 105/2.8 macro I took yesterday at a night baseball game.  Just wanted to see how it would do.  It was challenging, had to bump up the iso to 1600 to get any light.  F2.8, speed 450, manual focus to blur out a fence between me and the players.  Used a monopod to help stabilize my D90.

Nice abstract, Alden. Are the drops and droplets on glass or plastic?

I was getting the car washed.

This is a crop from the original image, which was color. I used PS4 to convert it, and added a blue filter, and it turned silver.

Thanks Kenafein. I was having a day of shooting things from above. So whilst out at the park with my boy we went along the river and the Swan was below me and I couldn't resist. Must be used to being photographed considering the pose!

Just had a play to see how it looks B&W, and actually prefer it.
