Nikon USA has just launched a series of nice bundle rebates on Nikon DSLRs and lenses, including FX and DX zooms as well as a handful of primes.  Savings are up to $380 on lenses and $100 on bodies:

There are rumors that the lens only offers may go into effect around Father's Day.

That would really be nice but I've also heard that Nikon is done doing lens only rebates for this year. Maybe they've reconsidered.

the 85 1.8 G is already out of stock at BandH

 

I see they are but a very limited selection. And, as you point out, the 85mm f1.8G (which is the only lens in this group I'd be interested in) is back ordered. I may order it anyway...
