The lens comes with a dedicated trunk case and accepts 40.5mm drop-in filters. It will be available in late August at a retail price of $11,999.

The 1.4x mark III teleconverter also features a new optical formula compared to its predecessor. In addition, it's the first Nikon teleconverter to offer a durable weather-sealed construction (other than the dedicated 1.25x converter for the 800mm lens).Best of all, the new teleconverter is being launched at $499, or $20 less than its predecessor.
