Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, 11 May, post the best photo you have taken this week. Any subject, any style--just give us your best shot.

PS: If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

In the US it will be Mother's Day… anybody doing a special shoot for mothers?

This little girl was so happy to be running on some water and the kicking tee for the local women's rugby team in the weekend.

That's a really sweet shot. Although darkish, I think this shot suits it.

Totally new to this world. I have never taken any classes on how to use my camera, searching the web to learn. I think I have found a gem in this group. I will upload one photo I took in manual mode of my grandson. Please help me grow.

That's a really great start- your technique is good and the bokeh looks nice.  This particular shot would probably be a bit more effective if you could see a bit above the handlebar.

Ah, what the heck, I don't think I'm going to have time to do much else this week, so I might as well submit. This was for another Project 52 Pros assignment--we had to shoot fragrance bottles…which is harder than it sounds. I ran out of time and got really lazy with lighting…

Anyhow, the photo in the background is my great-grandmother…kind of cool.

And if you look carefully, you can see me. :)

That's a great shot Nicole. Nice idea to have the photo in the background.

 I like it.

Ah, Rob, you're so kind. Thanks.

The photo I was hoping would help me achieve a romantic, old-fashioned style…because everybody wants to smell like their grandma, right?

This is lovely! My wife does the same. I spend ages taking shots and messing with a scene... she pops along borrows for two seconds and zam.. the pic of the bunch.

Seriously though the image tells a story I feel and i think those are the best kind. Really captures her innocence.

Not shot much this week, but did this one for the contest. Not my normal subject matter and next time I'm in the area I'll get there at either sun up/down. Ideally I wnated the lake still to get the reflection of the cathederal, but not chance with people on the water. I like the shot though.
