I would consider myself to be a solid "D" and ever working toward improvement.

I'm a D, but I wouldn't mind selling a photo or two here and there

C for me.Too entrenched in my current line of work to ever make time to be anything more. I've picked up a couple of corporate events at work over the past few months, and while it was a lot of fun, and great learning, was also a ton of work in post. Very different when you're just shooting/processing for enjoyment, without deadlines and commitments to deliver. I did it all for free experience, but if the opportunity presents itself again, there will be money involved. I work a lot, and have a young daughter, so my time is valuable.

As an update on my status, I pretty much hit all categories...I am definitely in B and am working slowly but surely towards A. I will hopefully be launching a new web site this weekend that will tie in with my sports photography. Along with that I'll be "rebranding" the SmugMug site I have as the photo piece of the web site. It is starting small, basically covering the schools in the county I am living in along with some of their opponents. Hopefully over time I will be able to expand coverage to a larger area as things move forward. I'm using a model that a friend had success with back in Virginia, so hopefully I can recreate the model here in North Carolina!

D, been offered to become C a few times, but so far - I do not feel confident, my quality varies too much that I feel like selling anything, im in it for personal hobby so far
Will skip C and go straight for B, once I feel confident enough to cover weddings, I believe som of my pictures have the quality needed.
Example this one, I believe has plenty quality for pro work - might be arrogance, but I do believe that one is 'nailed it'

Technically I am "C" but that was basically one occasion that broke the "never sold" qualifier for "D" and that was more than 15 years ago.
I have actually been published a couple times in the past year, but was unpaid so that keeps pushing me farther into "D."

"D". If someone wanted one of my photo's, I would give it to them and refuse money for it. I get paid enough, work hard for it- Photography is a serious hobby and if someone likes my photos- better than money.

Solid D here. I don't see myself ever selling photos, they are just for my, and friends and families, enjoyment. I like the challenge of getting a photo that I visualize, but wouldn't want to have to do it to put food on the table.

I'm pretty much 'C' although the Inland Revenue counts it as 'B'. At least I get to set my gear against tax.
I worked in the movie industry for many years and I would quite like to have been a Stills Photographer in that industry - but so does everyone else!

None of the above. I was a full time professional photographer for 35 years over a time span of 50 years. During the 15 years I was not a full time pro, I was a photographer-reporter or photographer-editor for a few years and did some other things for a few years. I'm retired now. Since retiring I have managed to rescue (not collect) a whole lot of camera gear, more than I can ever use. I found a 1960s Nikkor 50mm f1.4 and got it for basically nothing and also got real bargains on Nikkor 80-200 f2.8 and 20mm f2.8 20mm lenses. These I do use. I also have a dozen Minoltas, a near-new Olympus OM10 with several lenses and the gizmo that lets you set fstop and shutter speed. I have a specially-modified Yashicamat used by a major wire service in olde days before the Nikon F and a really cosmetically sharp Rolleiflex. I also have my Nikon F with the motor/battery pack that I used to shoot a Muhammad Ali title fight and Elvis (to mention just a couple of assignments.)
I have written a novel about Hollywood in the good/bad all days and once I launch that I think I will work on a photo book of my celeb and news photos. More tired than retired, I guess.
