Recently I had an awesome trip to NYC. New Yorkers are nothing like I was told. Truly Great people! It's impossible to pick out the best of over 300 pictures, but here's a few of them. All of the pics were taken with my D7100 and Nikkors 18-200mm and 35mm prime lens.

NYC does not disappoint! However, I will say awesome place to visit, but I have zero desire to live there! More power to the people that live there and want to stay! Just come to Florida every now and then and pay our state taxes. We love you for it!

I, too like the night shots better. The atmospheric haze makes the contrast a bit low on otherwise very nice cityscapes in the daytime.

Yes, but the algorithm that reduces the pics from their native resolution also washes out the color. The colors in the pics on the site are several shades lighter than out of the camera. This exaggerates the haze! Without a doubt there was haze on the day the pics were taken as well as on the original pics, but not as bad as the pics on the site make it look. And also consider that the pics with helicopter trajectory were taken through the plastic windows of a helicopter that weren't exactly clear.
