Race cars from the 24 hours of Daytona and the 12 hours of Sebring. Well . . ... my Mustang has been on the track, but not in these races. Note: for the cars on the track at the time the shutter fired they were all moving in excess of 100 mph. All were taken with my D7100 and Nikkor 18 -200mm lens.

I'm sorry this is only my 3rd day. I don't know how to do that yet. To be honest I thought the EXIF was attached to the pictures?

Not a problem. There is really not a way to import it and it gets stripped off when posted to the web. Only way to do it is to simply type it out. What aperture, speed and ISO where you shooting?

If you don't use save for web and upload directly to this site rather than smugmug or flickr, the EXIF is preserved and can be read in for example Exif Viewer for firefox without problems.

So is the data there? Do you know a reader for Chrome? (I have looked at a couple, but could not figure out how to make them work).

The pictures were uploaded to this site. They are not being hosted elsewhere. Perhaps I missed an option when I uploaded to this site?

Nikonite, you seem to have used the save for web option when saving them. This strips the EXIF. Uploading them to this site is quite straightforward and AFAIK has no options for removing or hiding EXIF.

I edited the post and deleted the picture of my Mustang. Left the site and then came back and added the picture of my Mustang. There were no options and I never saw any "save for web". The site took the picture from my hard drive and created the show.

That may be true, but doesn't apply here. The site took my original 6000 x 4000 pictures with EXIF data from my hard drive and created the show. I didn't reduce or strip anything. The site did that.

Nikonite,
Did you do any post-processing to the images or did you just save the images from your card to your hard drive? Did you shoot in RAW or JPG?

Yes I use DxO9 in post processing. Specifically the algorithm for the D7100 body and the Nikkor 18 - 200 mm lens. I shoot both raw and jpeg at the same time. However, the jpegs above were all created by DxO using the raw files. The camera's jpegs and DxO's jpegs are very close, but when viewed at full rez I like DxO's output a tick better.

Merco is suggesting that it is DxO that is stripping the EXIF information when you save the file...it is not saving the EXIF as part of the file - some post-processing applications do save that info in the JPG unless you use the Save for Web option...I do not know DxO but there is probably some setting when you save your images out of DxO that is stripping off the EXIF data.
It should be there in the JPGs from the camera and in the RAW files...

Nope, that's not it. The DxO jpegs all have EXIF data on my hard drive. Plus I'm not "saving it for the web". They all retain their 6k x 4k resolution. I've gone into several other shows in other threads and those pics don't have EXIF data either. Why is it expected on my pics?

I never expected it to be embedded in the file. I was mainly asking what your shutter speed and aperture setting were. (Mainly shutter speed as I am curious how fast you had to shoot to get that crisp a shot of that high speed a target).

Yes, but others apparently are expecting it to be there? I'll have the EXIF data for you text wise when I get home in a couple of hours.

And I appreciate it.
