These shots are from the 2013 Robe Race of Champions near Granite Falls, WA.  I think I'll try and shoot it this year too.  The race will be in April sometime.  It's not on a set date. It depends on water levels and what-not so you have to monitor a kayaker's chat forum and find out when it will be.

Thanks, yes, the first one is my favorite too.  The river took a turn and I was out on a rock looking upriver so that's how I got the perspective.
