The Nikon Coolpix P520 is a superzoom bridge camera featuring a 24-1000mm equivalent lens and a 18.1-megapixel sensor.

The first two shots are a comparison of the maximum and minimum values of the telephoto (42x optical)

Last two photos: Two features of the P520...

A panoramic assist which allows you to press the shutter and pan the camera along one axis for 180 degrees...

And a capture of sixteen consecutive images with one press of the shutter captured in a single file.

That's a pretty impressive zoom range.  How do you like the flip out screen? I find the one on my Samsung NX20 to be very useful at times.

Love it. I never had a camera with a flip out screen but this one handles intuitively and I can flip it out or out-and-over in whatever position I need without thinking about it. I thought I would be using the viewfinder most of the time but I have spoiled myself with this screen.

It comes in handy when shooting "street" shots where I can pretend I am fumbling with the settings or something with the camera down away from my face.

It has a clear image although it sometimes seems to lag just the tiniest bit. Aside from that, it works great!
