Nikon has just launched a host of awesome lens rebates that are not to miss:

The $400 off on the 80-400mm is tempting...

I bought the 85/1.8G.  I have been waiting for it to go on sale since I bought my Nikon.  I know some lenses that people are interested in are missing, like the 70-200vrII, hopefully they will have other sales for those buyers, soon; but I am happy.  A $150 rebate on the new 35/1.8 FX might sway me to buy that over the Sigma 35/1.4.

I might try to pick up the 105 Micro...I'm not sure they need to put any rebate on the 70-200...it is very popular and might be selling well enough without the rebate...of course, I'm all for it if they do put it on sale even though I already have it...

I would love to get that macro, the price is good, but I have other priorities.  It would be wonderful to have VR for macro shooting.  I miss that with my Pentax.  Maybe I'll get it next year, but my next purchase will be a 35mm.
