I recently picked up an N80 with broken film door latch. After an expedient repair job that worked better than anticipated, I took it out for a test drive. What a nice camera! It is quick, quiet, and smooth. I really liked the focus sensor select toggle on the film door. Having used a variety of other cameras, this feature is just brilliant and easy to use. I look forward to more time with this easy handling camera.

The N80/F80 has, like it's predecessor the F/N 601 quite a lot in common with it's bigger brother the F100 but with some extras to make it easier to use for the non-pro. I never personally liked them, but if you were not accustomed to the F4 and the F90/N90 the smaller size and lighter weight was a feature and not irritating. Welcome to the Forum lancer233, When you said you repaired the door latch, is this something you have done in the past? Guess that it was you who carried out the repair you mentioned. I have a little Panasonic DMC-FS35 Lumix that has a faulty battery/sim card cover, welcome any tips. The problem is with the hinge.I recently picked up an N80 with broken film door latch.
