It's the only section on the forum where newest posts do not go to the top, only within each topic thread. With 13 topics, it's harder to quickly see the newest pics.

Are you looking for a single forum with all the latest threads on it?  Because the section is organized into a number of sub-forums, you actually have to click into each forum to see the latest images.  I'm not sure I prefer that layout over a flat forum with tagging, but that's now it is for now.

 

But, if you click on the "View New Content" link in the upper-right corner of any page, then "filter by forum" at the bottom of the left column, you'll be able to browse all the new photo threads since your last visit / whenever.
