I don't know where else to post this random bit of info…but I am quite thrilled at the moment. I just found out I did indeed make it into Don Giannatti's Project 52 Pros group, which means a lot of things:
- For a whole year, I get weekly assignments, instruction, and feedback in commercial photography from Mr. Giannatti himself (he is a wonderful commercial photographer with years of experience and many published works--he's a good writer too)
- I get free access to some of his lighting courses on Udemy.com
- I have to (get to ) buy some of the gear I've had my eye on lately
- I'll be forced to stretch my photography skills and creativity
I am most excited about getting critiques from him. And the stretching part.
(And I should probably clarify--"getting in" was a matter of being quick enough to snag one of the few available spaces--it wasn't an audition process.)
