Love the detail, soft lighting and natural colors.  Very well done, especially the first shot :)

I also love the first shot. Was that one done without flash?

They're both very nice tho!

Thank you very much!

Ron, flash? moi? Surely you're joking. Absolutely not. Done in the "studio", which is a very odd rig in my office, using the available light there. (Tripod? of course. Stopped down, long exposure, shutter delay)

I have more, which I'll post when I have a bit more time later this week.

Well, the first one looks like it was done without flash but not the second... (strong shadows, etc.) which is why I asked. I do know how much you hate flash though. LOL

In this case, it was a result of the totally different surface characteristics of the flower parts. The phalaenopsis (white) flowers have a somewhat matte surface texture, the dendrobium flowers are more waxy/glossy, so they reflect the light differently. Basically both were shot under the same lighting conditions, no flash. I do sometimes use a homemade reflector or two.

Well, whatever technique you're using works very well. They're both beautiful!
