Does anyone have this?  I just bought one but the box didn't have any instructions in it!  I want to make sure I don't damage my lens somehow.  I've contacted Manfrotto but not heard back from them yet.

Luminous landscape has a good article about it here with a couple of good photos of it in use.

I had a 3252 to stabilize a Tamron 400/3.5 and an Angenieux 270/2.8 on a Manfrotto 029 Pan and tilt. I can't remember any trouble using it, it was quite straightforward, just release everything, put it in place, compose and tighten the support. Release length and ball before loosening the head.

No response from Manfrotto yet. I was hoping they could just send a scan of the instructions.

You might want to check their web site.  Lots of manufacturers post manuals for their products online...

Manfrotto, unfortunately do not.

The response was a bit puzzling -- they said "unfortunately, we do have instructions for the long lens support" and then directed me to the picture on their website. I have to assume the word "not" was excluded.

That looks cool.   We've been trying to get the moon with our Sigma 400 and an x2 teleconverter, we're always seeing a bit of motion blur. Might have to pick one of those up.
