Uggghh so my underwater camera is an olympus.  (Really wish it was a Nikon for that last photo contest)

 

For some reason it took an XD card (nope not SD where every laptop has one), and had a proprietary USB cord.

 

Now my wife is wanting pics from one of our trips...can I find an Xd Reader, NOPE, can I find that stupid USB cable...NOPE.

 

In fact I think I remember not being able to enter a photo contest in the the Bahamas for the same reason, can't get the pics off it.

 

I need to be smarter about backing things up. :angry: :angry: :angry: :angry:

I've had an Olympus or 3 over the years... yeah, those XD Cards are annoying. Kinda like the old Sony memory sticks. Either you had the cable or you were out of luck!

Yuppp finally found one of the card readers...me and my stupid new years resolution to not buy things I know I have just cause I can't find them :).
