Who likes night time photography? Lots of people, myself included.
A problem I encountered was identifying camera controls in the dark.
Forum members Merco_61 & Ron suggested a red torch as being a good option.
A white light torch is unsuitable as the user’s eyes take some time to adjust to low light conditions.
A quick burst of white light puts the user’s eyes back to daylight mode and recovery time is needed again.
There are lots of products available, but this is the one I chose.
The cost was £8 and ordered from an ebay seller.
This has three modes of operation. Each accessed by sequential pressing of the ‘on’ button.

3.Dimmed red.
Many different suppliers have this item available with similar descriptions;

though they seem to be identical.
