Hi;

I just noticed my new-to-me z7, that I've had for a couple of months, has been recording the time wrong even though it is set to the correct time zone and DST. Anyone else have this issue. I've now set it to the next time zone over to get the right time. Other insights?

Chris

Never mind! I just realized there was another setting for the time. I'm embarrassed.

Usually, other cameras of Nikon have one Cr1616 3v battery only for the internal date and clock, My cameras D2x,D3,D3x and D4 use it.

When this, battery run finish his life reset the date to default factory settings, like old PC computers.

I found cheap Cr1616 in Amazon now I have a 6 pack for replacements. :lol:

Don't be embarrassed Chris, there are SO many options on cameras these days.

I caught myself out the other day, wondering why my pictures had a very strange look to them.

I'd accidentally moved the white balance setting instead of the ISO.

Took me a little while to sort that out!
