The SnapBridge software has always been hit and miss with my old Iphone Se but worked for the occasional transfer of pictures from D5600 to the phone to send to family. I do not use smartphone for much and was able to hang on to the SE for almost 5 years when the battery completely died. In my attempt to hang on longer, I did a replacement of the battery, had problems after that. With the ISO at 11 I figured time to get a new SE 2023. I did a restore from the old phone to the new and the few apps that i had purchased restored and worked.

Couple of weeks ago I took some sunset pictures and opened Snapbridge to get a few to send. Snapbridge connected to the camera but when I do Download pictures it fails. I spent hours since trying to get this to work. I have updated the Snapbridge on the phone, did firmware update on the D5600 from 1.03 to 1.10, removed the camera from the "paired" connection on the phone, reset network connections in the camera, tried both Bluetooth and WiFi with and without password. The phone is connected to the camera, it shows the battery level. It goes through the same thing, showing Join network , then open WiFi and so on. I have tried youtube videos that said it was the fix but still cannot download the pictures from the camera.

I can work around and put the pictures on pc at work that has ITunes, do a sync of pictures and get them on there, but to remove them from the phone you have to do that in reverse as there is no way to Delete them when done that way,

Any tricks or links would be appreciated.

Thanks

Since there were no replies I assume no one had the magic fix. I got it to work, wish I could say what the fix was but not for sure which fixed it. I removed the Snap Bridge, download new copy, removed the phone from the camera... went through all steps multiple times and it started working.
