A long telephoto/macro lens which allows for a good distance between the subject and the lens. Ideal for photographing flowers, insects, etc.

It was Sunny, the Cherry Trees in the Neighborhood still have their Blossoms, Took out the AF-D Micro-Nikkor 200 F4 ED-IF on the Nikon Df.

This lens is probably the sharpest lens that I own.

All shots hand-held, pretty much at F5.

The neighborhood I grew up in had those same cherry trees lining the streets on both sides throughout the neighborhood.  Every spring we would get people stopping around the neighborhood to take photos of the trees.  Unfortunately, most of those trees have died off and not been replaced so last time I was there in the spring, it didn't have the same beauty as it used to.  But it was still fun to see the trees.

The house with this tree was recently bought by a couple in semi-retirement. I gave them a DVD with the last 7 years or so of Spring Blossoms on it. People in the neighborhood are used to seeing me out on a daily walk with a camera, some are 80 years old now. And a neighbor or two as old as the Leica III.
