Hey all! I just turned my camera on yesterday and the top LCD only displays the ISO setting while the rear LCD and all other buttons don't seem to be functioning. Looking through the viewfinder, the autofocus selector has gone crazy. The camera hasn't been around any moisture or extreme temps in awhile and was working just fine. Any thoughts? I'm guessing this is going to have to go in for service or the thing is bricked.

Hello Roy

The activity in the view finder is consistent with pressing & holding the 'up' button on the multi selector. This would 'lock out' all the other buttons.

Can't think of any other straight forward reason. Otherwise - a trip to the camera repairer.

Do you frequently use the sensor dust removal device? there could be a link since it may shake other components in tha camera.

Thanks all! I have a repair order started with Nikon. Most of the buttons on the body don't respond.
