As the title says, there is a ( little ) bit of play in the multi selector command of this model - at least on my unit. It seems to be like this by design but I want to be sure it is so before the end of my 30-days return period. You can feel it by putting two fingers on two opposite points of the ring shaped part of the command and alternatively pressing gently till you start feeling the resistance of the springs. Is yours like mine? Thanks in advance for your contribution, R.C.

 

P.S. If it can help you answering my question, I know that both D780 and D850 have the exact same multidirectional cammand ( information obtained fron Nikon tech support with no other precision ).
