I have a Z5 and while we’re away for the week I’d like to set up my Z5 to record the blossoming of a houseplant that is set to be at its best while we are away. Just a couple of shots a day should do but I’m wondering how long a fully-charged battery will last in such circumstances. Any advice gratefully received.

Great idea! Do you have time to test it before you go? It would give you an idea what changing exposure and lighting would look like. BTW, what timer are you using to accomplish it? Will it wake your camera from sleep to take a photo?
