Hey guys,

I just bought a brand new D7500 and I am quite disappointed with it. First, I must precise that I am using it in manual mode and that the problem ( reported by many others ) is occuring only in viewfinder mode. Now, whether I press Menus, Info or Review ( images ) I get an hourglass for about one second before selected screen appears, which I never in the world got with my other DSLR, a Pentax K-70 - which is half the price! Any idea here for the way to fix it? I know for sure that it is not a problem with the SD card since I tried another one that works perfectly fine in my other DSLR and anyway, as said before it occurs only in viewfonder mode, which proves it has no link with SD card. I strongly suspect a firmware default or a main electronic component card. If I can't find a way to fix it through parameters I will have to return the product and I will never buy Nikon again ( I already had a firmware with my Coolpix P500, problem denied by Nikon but solved by update... ). Wel, thanks in advance to you folks whatever happens, R.C.

Important update, I found a way to solve this problem: go in the menus and set the Information display time to No limit. It almost made me return the camera and I am still not happy that I had to work two days ( and I am one of the 10 best ICT techs in Canada! ) to find the fix. Well, hope this will help pther members here.
