1] The EH-54 AC adaptor does not seem to be available or if so it is only for North America voltages

Can a regular charger be used provided it give the correct DC voltage and polarity and fits

What is the correct voltage and polarity?

 

2] I've a wide angle adaptor lens. In the menu I can choose wide angle lens but the EXIF info still shows a 35mm equivalent lens and it appears just for close up images

If I do not use the menu but just place the adaptor on the camera the  image recorded is the wide angle BUT it still shows 35mm equivalent in the EXIF data

So do I need to select the wide angle lens in the menu for normal usage
