Hello friends!

 

Thank you very much for giving a nice welcome to this forum. I would specially like to thank Adam for the welcome message through mail.

 

I am from Kolkata, West Bengal, India. My running age is 71 years.

I had been an engineer by profession. Now I work as an advisor to construction company engaged in large scale projects.

 

Photography is my passion. I had started with a Leica about 65 years back. Later on, I switched over to Canon rangefinders and then SLRs. Started using Canon DSLR cameras from 2005. Changed over to Nikon D810 in 2015 and this year I switched over to Nikon Z6MII in view of its light weight.

 

I would like to be in touch with each one of you and would like to see the wonderful images created by all of you. In between, I will also push in a few images of mine.

 

I am attaching photo of mine, that is presently my profile picture in facebook.

Welcome to the forum!

 

We start a new mini challenge tomorrow. I call it Normalvember, and the challenge is simply to get out and shoot with a normal lens as much as possible during the month of November. I hope that more members will participate than we had in this month's challenge, "Show us where you live".
