Sometime before midnight (whatever time zone you are in) this Sunday, October 30 2022, post the best photo you have taken this week.
Any subject, any style and any equipment—just give us your best shot.
If you can, list your EXIF info and any special lighting setups you may have used.

Asp moth caterpillar...nasty little critters.

Megalopyge opercularis.  In Texas these caterpillars are  commonly known as “asps”. When an asp moth caterpillar rubs or is pressed against skin, venomous hairs stick into the skin causing a severe burning sensation and rash.

We also have these in south Florida, although we call them puss moths. Exactly the same bug.... and exactly the same result if you happen to meet up with one. Around here they like to hide in palm fronds just waiting for some unsuspecting yard guy to brush up against them. I've personally never had the pleasure, but my better half has on several occasions. She says, "nuke them with fire!"

Here's two from a facility that cuts a large volume of fire wood.

I like those.

There's real drama in your firewood.
