okay Merco_61 and few other pros on this site. need remarks and input on this photo.  

 

could not use my flash do to fact person in other room had led light on top of camera so had to shot threw the door and use her lighting to get photo specs for photo and cool effect from window

gen 1 nikon Z6 nikon mirrorless 28-75mm F/2.8 at 56mm F/2.8 1/5 iso 1000 and yes was stand outside a door way and did edit correct it and crop to bring in some. also was at hooter pageant. also i knew lady out side taking photo before shoot so can get photo each girl in good lighting. she did great job. also she thank me for not using add on flash to camera and just used here flash. just incase photo goes down link to flickr account one DSC_6755 | chris dellinger | Flickr

Yes - good photo Chris.

I find the reflection a bit confusing though.

I would have cropped it out.

The reflection is interesting, but I would fade in a slight soft effect to it. 
The problem I see is that there are few details in the white parts as the highlights are blown. I wonder if you could pull them back a bit by tweaking the exposure curve slightly?

she had something like this item. so had to use what said i can got back and change after image but will be hard for me understand and how to do it since have not tried doing editing like that.

As you use Lightroom, you can probably bring back some detail in the highlights by adjusting the highlights slider in the exposure pane.

still learning and will do. was not sure if should or not. also got 2 other photo that more adult like and can not post on flickr. so had to get hold of people that worked the night to get person her photo's since knew to many people that where managers that night or photographer for event too. to share to with person for adult photo. i love your guys help in teaching me. also night launch for rocket that sending that vehicle that going around moon at 12:07 am my time. so could get great photo of glow from night launch.

Looks pretty good to me. I'm not too concerned about the blown out highlights... but, in Lightroom (or Adobe Camera RAW) in Photoshop, it's very easy to pull or push exposure values using a number of different sliders. I would encourage you to experiment with them.

 

I do think I would have chosen a bit higher ISO value so as to not need to use such a slow shutter speed. As good as the photo looks, when you enlarge it, camera shake manages to sneak in. The women in the background are also a bit of a distraction. I would try to isolate the subject and apply some background blur to deal with that.

 

But, yeah... looks pretty nice. Oh, and I'm impressed with how nice the Z6 renders noise. It almost has a bokeh quality to it (if that makes any sense! LOL)

Looks like an exposed root system, like from an upturned tree or landslide, etc..  Pretty cool photo.

 

I'm still waffling on whether to get an SE3 or iPhone 13 mini to replace my aging, first generation iPhone SE. I like the new cameras on the iPhone 14 but, man... those things are big. I know, big is what almost everyone wants... but it's getting to where you might as well carry an iPad around with you. I prefer something slightly smaller.

A mural by Charlie Granberg from me this week.

This one is Pelle No-Tail and his sweetheart, Maya Cream-nose. (In Swedish, Pelle Svanslös and Maja Gräddnos).

It is inspired by the childrens' books by Gösta Knutsson that were published between 1939 and 1972. If you have seen the animated films from the 80-s, you know Pelle as Peter No-Tail. He kept his name in the translations of the books, though.

Voigtlander Nokton 50mm F1.0, wide-open on the M9. 1/60th sec, ISO2500. Main lights turned off, Disco Lights only for lighting. Manual Focus using the rangefinder, "Subject did not stay still", was skating at a fairly fast pace. I was shooting Nikon rangefinders long before Leica. If Nikon ever brought out a Digital S-Mount rangefinder, I'd buy it immediately. I have a lot of S-Mount lenses. I ended up buy a full set of Nikon lenses in Leica mount.
