Yesterday, I took a melancholy walk and took a look through my lens at seven of my late mother's favourite restaurants. I skipped her favourite Sushi place as it is in a totally different part of the city and her favourite Italian seafood place as there was an illegally parked car outside that made it impossible to take a photo.

Parked cars - ugh!

Your restaurants look good at night Peter.

On one of our morning dog walks. I like how the world goes from monochrome to colour as the sun rises.

Yesterday, I headed to my favorite butcher shop located just off the local town square. It was an unusually warm for late October here in North Texas so shorts were the order of the day. I took my D3400 with me - it's become my grab-and-go camera.

Green parrots!

Nice to look at.

Annoying to listen to.

Never saw any at the old house in Maidstone.

In this area there's no shortage.

Nearly all major retailers are available here. It's an area that is 50/50 retail parks and newly built homes.

Here my back garden view over last week. It was such a lovely sighting to see them even without camera and with a hugh arc

I'm very jealous Sophie.

That's a spectacle I've always wanted to see first-hand.
