I got a real newbie question: if I'm in manual mode for aperture/shutter and have auto-focus on, and I step down the aperture the view finder gets darker (I assume I managed to turn on some preview) and I don't see anything of what's in the frame - which of course is a problem :D (this is in a studio setting with flashes). I can't figure out how to turn off this "preview mode" so I can see what I'm trying to take a photo on.

Can anyone give me a hint how to turn this off?

In the Z6II and Z7II, it is custom function D9 that turns Show final image in viewfinder on or off.

Tillämpa inställn. på livevisning If you have the menus set to Swedish.

If you have a Z7, the setting is in the D submenu, but I am not sure if it is one that changed number with version II.

Thanks, I knew it was somewhere but couldn't find it

Welcome to the forums, by the way.

Don’t miss the mini-challenges. We have the ”Your best photo of the week” challenge with deadline on sundays, ”Monochrome Mondays” and the next challenge will be ”Show us where you live” that will run during October. After that comes ”Normalvember”.
