I like the story told in #2 and 4.

Thank you!

It seems as if I was a bit tired when I came in yesterday and processed and posted these... I forgot to post the shooting data.

I had the AF 24/2.8D mounted on the FTZ on the Zfc.

The monochrome conversion is made with Silver Efex Pro with the Pan F emulation active and my usual selenium toning and slight yellow paper hue. I didn't save the settings, so I am not sure what filters I used, but I think it was red in #2 and #4 and something cyanish in #1 and #3.

I really like number four although I probably would have cropped it from the bottom to eliminate some of the empty space... and probably from the top too, to balance the image a bit. But, it's a nice image as is.

I tried some other crops and it lost the feel, for me.

That empty space adds something, I don’t know what it does but the feel of the photo changes when I crop it away.

Fair enough. I played a bit with crops on it myself and waffled a bit too. Especially with the top of the image. It all depends on what the artist is trying to convey.

I like the last one as is. The empty space adds to the sense of loneliness, emptiness and isolation.
