Hello all.
I have a D5600, but I presume that the available menus and settings would tend to be the same across all Nikon cameras, where applicable. For instance, I also have a Coolpix, and the menu on that is really quite similar to the one on my DSLR, albeit with many of the options missing.
I usually have the shutter release set to Quiet, but if I'm unsure of how much exposure I want, or if I'm trying to do anything intricate involving how the light appears in the final image, 'll use bracketing and self-timer mode, and set the number of shots to three. But after using the self-timer, the shooting mode always resets itself back to quiet single shot mode. If I'm doing numerous shots because I'm changing the lighting or rearranging the objects being photographed, every single time I have to go back into the menu and change the shooting mode back to self-timer.
Is there a way to prevent that, so that it'll stay on the self-timer setting until I want to change it back?
Come to think of it, I'd rather have it on the self-timer even if I'm only taking single shots, because I like having that two second delay after I touch the LV screen to activate the shutter. (I really don't do action photos, so the delay isn't an issue for me.)
