As always, any subject, any style.

Here's some fine examples of B&W prints from the past.

NASA-1960's  (probably taken with a Hasselblad 6x6)

uXpcifLl.jpg

1950's-1970's  artistic kiss

lxAZMwcl.png

Young Princess Elizabeth with friend, 1930's  (range finder?  view camera?)

pTjyb6fl.jpg

USAF flight nurse posing with helmet, flack vest, and M-2 carbine.  Vietnam 1960's  probably taken with a Nikon 35mm

PGxd4nDl.jpg

A shot like this probably took a few takes!

I just like this one in so many ways!

The Apollo 8 shot with Miss NASA 1971 is probably shot with a Pentax 6x7 as that is what the PR folks at NASA favoured in the early 70-s. It could even be a 35 mm shot as the DOF looks a bit large for medium format.

Could be almost anything, but NASA used a lot of Hasselblads.  A P.R. shot...eh, maybe not.

It's too bad you don't have the credit info for these images, although I suppose with enough diligence one could dig up the info.

I also like the dog image which is an excellent example of how to correctly utilize a wide angle lens.

My normally well trained Border Collies haven't quite gotten the concept of modeling down yet, but we're working on it...

This week's submissions:

D7200 with MicroNikkor 105/4 Ai'd.

Raw files converted in Photo Ninja with the Portrait Vivid preset, some noise reduction and cropped to 5:4.

Monochrome conversion in SEP using this recipe:

As I entered the colour and strength of the filter emulation manually, there are intermediate lines with the partial values.
